Author Introduction#
According to online rumors, this part of the content is organized by Master Tony as the "Futures Bible," but after verification, the original author is actually futures expert Yang Bin. Due to Master Tony's Weibo being banned multiple times, the situation from back then is hard to verify, but this content is very much in line with Master Tony's trading philosophy and is definitely worth reading, so it is not surprising that it is praised by him. Yang, from Shijiazhuang, graduated from Hebei University and entered the futures industry in 1993, serving as a business representative, business director, and business manager at futures companies, gradually gaining a good reputation due to his repeated achievements. Since he was fully entrusted in early 1994 to manage client funds, his overall win rate has remained above 80%, meaning over 80% of clients exited after reaching their profit targets, with total profits exceeding twice the amount of the funds he managed. Ten Disciplines of Futures Trading#
- Set stop-loss points and capital amounts in advance before entering the market.
- Each trade should not occupy more than 30% of the total capital.
- The loss on each capital should not exceed 3% of the total capital.
- If the market moves significantly in the right direction for two days, unless it is a trend-following halt, reduce positions (trend-following large bullish or bearish candles can be maintained without reduction).
- When in doubt, one must close positions, at least reducing half.
- When increasing positions, find effective resistance or support levels, and new positions must strictly set stop-losses.
- Position sizes should not be too large to cause anxiety; if this occurs, immediately reduce positions.
- Always be wary of surrounding optimism; it hides great risks and should not be used as a reason for holding positions firmly.
- Do not hold more than three varieties of positions simultaneously.
- Conduct comprehensive planning before entering the market: confirm the overall trend, the first profit target, and the timing and ratio for reducing and increasing positions.
